The new season is upon us once again, after the recent AGM the Falcons now find themselves back in the Division 1 South League after two successful years winning the Midlands division.
The Falcons squad has undergone some changes in the offseason, leaving the Falcons are Hayley Dean, Cheri McCluskey and Kelley Lee Gilmore who has returned to Canada. We would like to welcome back Kirsty Krater also joining the team we would like to welcome Clare Ledbury from the Peterborough Penguins. More announcements coming soon...
The Falcons would like to thank Aram Todd for assisting in coaching the Falcons for the last couple of seasons, he has been an invaluable member of the team and will be missed. Coming into to assist Laura Vale with the coaching this season is Matt Withers.
The Falcons would also like to thank you to Chris Scott Young and Tower Cleaning Services for sponsoring the team shirts this season. These will be unveiled on Sunday 31st October when the Falcons take on the Solent & Gosport Amazons at Home.
The Falcons won their first game of the new season beating Invicta Dynamics 10 - 0 at home, congratulations to Nat Bullen for Player of the Game.
The Falcons won their second game beating the Basingstoke Bears 14 - 0, well done to the Bears who played with a lot of spirit despite having a short bench. Well done to Gemma Dean for her Player of the Game.
The Falcons lost their first game this season against the Solent & Gosport Amazons, despite outshooting them 5 to 1 they were unable to get the puck past their goalie when it mattered who stood on her head. Falcons were wearing their new shirts and also debuting was new signing Alexis Hamilton.
14/11/10 - Falcons beat Oxford Midnight Stars 7-0, the game had to be abandoned with just under 14mins to play due to an injured Oxford player. The Falcons would like to wish Sophia a speedy recovery. Falcons player of the game was Gemma Dean. Also icing for the first time this season Sarah Adams, Sarah played for the Falcons when they first started and will bolster the Falcons defensive line-up.

21/11/10 - Falcons travelled to Bracknell for their first away game of the season. The Falcons played their best hockey to date and stunned the Firebees by going 5-0 up at the end of the first. The Falcons tired in the second as Bracknell held them scoreless. The 3rd period the Falcons upped the pace again and put another 7 past them and holding Bracknell to 3 shots on goal. Player of the game went to Alexis Hamilton but a special mention to Shanice Pryce Royal playing her first game for the Falcons who played a solid game on the blue line.
12/2/11 - Another two games and another two wins. Falcons beat Bracknell Firebees 10-3 at home and then win 12-0 away to Invicta despite missing Nat Bullen & Alexis Hamilton. The result was never in doubt as new signing Ashley Payette debuting for the Falcons bagged herself a hat trick and Player of the Game.
